About Me

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker located in Gig Harbor, Washington. I provide  individual and couples therapy in the Puget Sound area and beyond.
For the past several years, I have been honored and humbled to provide clinical counseling to our Active Duty military members and their families. The strong connection I have with my military affiliated clients comes from the many years of being a military spouse.  After experiencing many losses in my own life, it has become my passion to work with those that are experiencing grief and loss in their lives.

Moving back to Washington State a couple of years ago, I began working more extensively with the veterinarian population providing individual therapy, wellbeing trainings, and checking in with patient families as needed.

Living in different countries  during my time as a military spouse,  as well as living in the different regions of the United States helped me develop a positive attitude towards cultural differences. My professional and life experiences helped me to understand and appreciate these cultural differences.

When I am not working, my husband and I are busy exploring and reacquainting ourselves with the mountains, lakes, rivers, and streams of our home state.
