I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker located in Gig Harbor, Washington. I provide  individual and couples therapy in the Puget Sound area and beyond.

My passion is working with those experiencing  grief and loss. I am so privileged to walk with clients through their worst moments. Our society is not comfortable talking about death and dying. I am working to help change the narrative so we are more open, compassionate, and understanding about our own feelings and beliefs surrounding grief and loss, and I believe this is the moment! All of our different and unique experiences over the last couple of years has opened the door for this conversation. More people are willing to talk about grief since the pandemic, so let's talk!

In the past couple of years, I have also found a home working with veterinarian healthcare workers struggling with the many challenges of their careers. 

I have been honored and humbled to provide clinical counseling to our Active Duty military members and their families since I began this career. The strong connection I have with my military affiliated clients comes from the many years of being a military spouse.  

Living in different countries  during my time as a military spouse,  as well as living in the different regions of the United States helped me develop a positive attitude towards cultural differences. My professional and life experiences helped me to understand and appreciate these cultural differences.

When I am not working, my husband and I are busy exploring our home state, playing with our two puppies (Frankie & Grace), spending time with our family and friends, and loving on our four grandchildren whenever we get the opportunity.
